Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup Pie Crust
  • 2 pound Apples
  • 0.75 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish.
  3. Peel, core, and slice the apples.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
  5. Add the sliced apples to the bowl and toss to coat them in the sugar mixture.
  6. Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust.
  7. Dot the top of the pie with small pieces of butter.
  8. Roll out the remaining pie crust and cut it into strips.
  9. Arrange the strips in a lattice pattern on top of the pie.
  10. Bake the pie for 45-50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  11. Allow the pie to cool for at least 30 minutes before serving.
