  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and bake for the recommended time.
  4. In a separate bowl, dissolve the orange gelatin in boiling water. Stir in cold water and let it cool until it starts to thicken.
  5. Once the cake has cooled, poke holes all over the top using a fork. Pour the orange gelatin mixture evenly over the cake, allowing it to seep into the holes.
  6. Refrigerate the cake for at least 1 hour or until the gelatin is set.
