  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Remove 1 cup of the cream cheese mixture and set aside.
  4. To the remaining cream cheese mixture, add canned pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. Mix until well combined.
  5. Pour pumpkin mixture over crust in the pie dish. Carefully spoon reserved cream cheese mixture over pumpkin layer.
  6. Bake for 50 minutes or until the center is set. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 2 hours.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Serve chilled with whipped cream on top.
