  3. Add the butter, milk, vanilla extract, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  7. Transfer the cake to a wire rack and let it cool completely.
  8. In a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar with a few drops of food coloring to make a glaze.
  9. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake.
  10. Slice and serve.
