Ingredients
  • 8 ounce Chocolate
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 piece Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 0.75 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tablespoon Cocoa Powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.75 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Dark Chocolate Chunks
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate and butter together in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  3. In a separate large bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, whisking constantly.
  5. In a small bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture, whisking until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the greased pie dish and smooth the top. Bake for 25 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the pie cool for 2 hours at room temperature.
  8. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it starts to simmer. Remove from heat and pour over the dark chocolate chunks in a bowl. Let it sit for 1 minute, then stir until smooth.
  9. Pour the ganache over the cooled pie, spreading it evenly. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
  10. Serve chilled and enjoy!
