Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, cook the deer or ground beef over medium heat until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, sauté the onion, garlic, carrot, and celery until tender.

Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables and stir to coat.

Gradually add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Cook until thickened.

Return the cooked deer or ground beef to the skillet and mix well.

Transfer the mixture to a pie dish lined with the pie crust.

Cover the pie with another sheet of pie crust and seal the edges.

Cut slits in the top crust for ventilation.
