Butter and flour four 4-ounce (120 ml) ramekins or aluminum baking cups.

Place the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water. Stir until melted and smooth.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until pale and thickened.

Whisk in the melted chocolate mixture.

Add the flour and salt, and whisk until just combined.

Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.
