Ingredients
  • 200 gram Dark chocolate
  • 200 gram Butter
  • 200 gram Sugar
  • 4 unit Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 150 gram All-purpose flour
  • 50 gram Cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 100 gram Powdered sugar
  • 1 cup Whipping cream
  • 1 cup Raspberries
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and line a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate and butter together in short bursts, stirring in between, until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and stir until smooth.
  5. Sift in the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir until just combined.
  6. Pour in the milk and mix until the batter is smooth.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
  11. Spread the whipped cream over the cooled cake and decorate with fresh raspberries.
  12. Serve and enjoy!
