  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a round cake pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar until well combined.
  4. Add the vanilla extract, yoghurt, and eggs to the butter mixture. Mix well.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture and milk to the butter mixture, alternating between the two. Mix until just combined.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the custard powder and a little milk until smooth. Add the custard mixture to the cake batter and mix well.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Once cooled, dust the top of the cake with powdered sugar.
  11. Slice and serve.
