Ingredients
  • 500 gram All-purpose flour
  • 250 gram Unsalted butter
  • 200 gram Macedonian cheese
  • 50 gram Sesame seeds
  • 10 gram Yeast
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 unit Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
Instructions
  1. In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk with sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Add the yeast mixture and eggs to the flour mixture. Mix until the dough comes together.
  4. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Divide the dough into 12 equal portions. Roll each portion into a thin circle.
  8. Sprinkle Macedonian cheese and sesame seeds on each circle.
  9. Roll the dough into a crescent shape, starting from the wider end.
  10. Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet and let them rest for 10 minutes.
  11. Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
