Cut the cold butter into small cubes and add it to the flour mixture.

Gradually add the ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time, and mix until the dough comes together.

Divide the dough into two equal portions and shape each into a disk.

Wrap the dough disks in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out one of the dough disks on a lightly floured surface to fit your pie dish.

Transfer the rolled-out dough to the pie dish and press it into the bottom and sides.

Trim any excess dough.

Repeat steps 8-10 with the second dough disk if making a double crust pie.
