  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in the tomato paste, Creole seasoning, thyme, bay leaves, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and hot sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove the bay leaves from the skillet.
  6. Roll out one pie crust and place it in a pie dish.
  7. Pour the meat mixture into the pie crust.
  8. Roll out the second pie crust and place it on top of the meat mixture.
  9. Trim and seal the edges of the pie crusts together.
  10. Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  11. Beat the egg and brush it over the top crust.
  12. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  13. Let the pie rest for 10 minutes before serving.
