Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and start to brown.

Push the mushrooms to the side of the skillet and add the chicken breast. Cook until browned on all sides.

Sprinkle the flour over the chicken and mushrooms, and stir to coat evenly.

Slowly pour in the chicken stock and heavy cream, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.

Stir in the frozen peas, salt, and black pepper.

Transfer the mixture to a pie dish.

Roll out the puff pastry and place it over the pie dish, trimming any excess pastry.

Brush the beaten egg over the pastry.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
