Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch (23 cm) round cake pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth.
  6. Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared pan. Spoon the cream cheese mixture on top and swirl with a knife.
  7. Pour the remaining cake batter over the cream cheese mixture and swirl again.
  8. Bake for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Serve and enjoy!
