In a large bowl, cream together the cream cheese, butter, and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually blend into the creamed mixture. Pour into the prepared pan.

Bake for 60 to 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack.
