Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until creamy. Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.

Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the cream cheese mixture, beating until just combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
