In a separate large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

In a small bowl, mix together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and cinnamon until smooth.

Spread half of the cake batter into the prepared pan. Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the batter, spreading it evenly. Top with the remaining cake batter.
