Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 stick Unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup White chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut the butter into small pieces and add it to the flour mixture. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, egg, and vanilla extract. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the dried cranberries and white chocolate chips.
  6. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it a few times to bring it together. Pat the dough into a circle about 1 inch thick.
  7. Use a sharp knife to cut the dough into 8 wedges. Transfer the wedges to the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the scones are golden brown.
  9. Allow the scones to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Serve and enjoy!
