Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Chopped walnuts
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the cranberries.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon, and chopped walnuts.
  7. Spread half of the batter into the prepared baking pan. Sprinkle half of the brown sugar mixture over the batter.
  8. Repeat with the remaining batter and brown sugar mixture.
  9. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. Serve and enjoy!
