  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cranberries, cherries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. Pour the fruit mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Dot the top of the filling with small pieces of butter.
  6. Roll out the remaining pie crust and cut it into strips.
  7. Create a lattice pattern on top of the pie by weaving the strips.
  8. Brush the lattice crust with egg wash.
  9. Bake the pie for 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  10. Allow the pie to cool for at least 30 minutes before serving.
