Ingredients
  • 16 ounce Crab meat
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoon Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 sliced Green onions
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • as needed for frying Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Lemon zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • to taste pinch Cayenne pepper
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, egg, green onions, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  2. Shape the mixture into small patties.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Fry the crab cakes until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together yogurt, curry powder, lemon zest, salt, and cayenne pepper to make the curried yogurt sauce.
  6. Serve the crab cakes with the curried yogurt sauce on the side.
