Cow Pies
Cow pies are a traditional British dish, also known as cottage pie, which dates back to the 18th century. It was originally made with leftover roasted meat and topped with mashed potatoes as a way to use up leftovers.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.

Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened.

Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, and beef broth. Simmer for 5 minutes.

In a separate pot, boil the potatoes until tender. Drain and mash with butter, milk, salt, and black pepper.

Spread the ground beef mixture into a baking dish. Top with the mashed potatoes, spreading evenly.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden brown.
