  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Remove excess fat.
  3. Add the onion, carrot, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, and beef stock to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in the frozen peas and season with salt and black pepper. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, peel and dice the potatoes. Boil them in salted water until tender. Drain and mash with butter and milk until smooth.
  6. Transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish and spread the mashed potatoes evenly on top.
  7. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the mashed potatoes.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
  9. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
