Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup Coca-Cola
  • 1/4 cup Buttermilk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup Chopped pecans
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter and Coca-Cola over medium heat. Pour the mixture into the dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Add the buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla extract to the batter and mix until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and Coca-Cola until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake.
  8. Sprinkle the chopped pecans on top of the glaze. Let the cake rest for at least 1 hour before serving.
