Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil
  • 4 large Egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoon Instant coffee powder
  • 2 tablespoon Hot water
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 6 large Egg whites
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cream of tartar
  • 2 tablespoon Cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoon Hot milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine vegetable oil, egg yolks, coffee powder, hot water, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. In another bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
  6. Gently fold the egg whites into the batter until no streaks remain.
  7. Divide the batter in half. In one half, fold in cocoa powder and hot milk.
  8. Alternately spoon the coffee and cocoa batters into the prepared pan. Use a knife to gently swirl the batters together.
  9. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Remove from the oven and invert the pan onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. Once cooled, remove the cake from the pan and serve.
