Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Instant coffee granules
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Dissolve the instant coffee granules in the milk.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients and the coffee mixture to the butter mixture, alternating between the two, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.
  7. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
