  • 250 gram Apples
  • 150 gram All-purpose Flour
  • 50 gram Cocoa Powder
  • 2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 150 gram Unsalted Butter
  • 200 gram Granulated Sugar
  • 3 gram Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 100 milliliter Milk
  • 50 gram Powdered Sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Peel and dice the apples.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy. Then mix in the eggs one at a time.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until well combined.
  7. Gently fold in the diced apples.
  8. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
  9. Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
