Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cup Coca-Cola
  • 0.5 cup Buttermilk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 0.5 cup Chopped pecans
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter and add the Coca-Cola. Bring to a boil.
  4. Pour the Coca-Cola mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well.
  5. Add the buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. In a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar and chopped pecans. Sprinkle the mixture over the cooled cake.
