  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, and salt. In a separate small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add yeast mixture and milk to the dry ingredients. Stir until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle.
  6. Spread softened butter over the dough and sprinkle with a mixture of ground cinnamon and brown sugar.
  7. Roll up the dough tightly from the long side and pinch the seam to seal.
  8. Place the rolled dough in a greased loaf pan, cover, and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  10. Bake the bread for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
