  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon.
  6. Spread half of the batter into the prepared cake pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter.
  7. Repeat with the remaining batter and cinnamon sugar mixture.
  8. Use a knife to swirl the cinnamon sugar mixture into the batter.
  9. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  12. Spread the cream cheese frosting over the cooled cake.
  13. Slice and serve.
