In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

In a small bowl, mix together the ground cinnamon and brown sugar.

Pour half of the batter into the prepared cake pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the batter.

Pour the remaining batter over the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.

Use a knife to swirl the cinnamon-sugar mixture into the batter.

Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
