In a mixing bowl, combine the pie crust and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Press the mixture into a 9-inch pie dish.

Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let it cool.

In a saucepan, steep the chai tea bags in the milk over medium heat for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and set aside.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, sugar, cornstarch, and remaining cinnamon.

Slowly pour the chai-infused milk into the egg mixture, whisking constantly.

Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens.

Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
