Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and granulated sugar.

Cut in the unsalted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a separate bowl, mix together the chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt.
