Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the cheddar cheese and parmesan cheese to the bowl and mix well. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the chopped green onions. Spoon the batter into a greased muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
