  6. Fold in the mixed dried fruits and chopped nuts.

  9. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  10. Remove from the pan and let cool completely on a wire rack.
  11. Once cooled, brush the top of the cake with brandy.
  12. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
