  1. In a bowl, combine the chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press onto the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the chocolate chips with 1/2 cup of heavy cream over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gradually add the remaining 1 cup of heavy cream and beat until stiff peaks form.
  4. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture into the prepared crust. Drizzle half of the melted chocolate mixture over the cream cheese. Repeat layers.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  6. Before serving, garnish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
