Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a food processor, blend coconut flakes, melted butter, granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, and salt until combined.

Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish.

Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

In a saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat until hot but not boiling.

Remove from heat and add the chopped semi-sweet chocolate. Stir until smooth and well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and vanilla extract.

Slowly pour the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, whisking constantly.

Pour the filling into the baked crust.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the filling is set around the edges but still slightly jiggly in the center.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for 2 hours at room temperature.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until fully chilled.
