Crush the digestive biscuits and mix with melted butter. Press the mixture into a pie dish to form the crust.

Melt the chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water.

In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture and vanilla extract, and mix well.

Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared crust and smooth the top.

Allow the pie to cool for 2 hours, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
