  • 1 cup Pie crust
  • 1 cup Pecans
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Boiling water
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix well.
  4. Spread the batter evenly in a greased baking dish.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the brown sugar and cocoa powder. Sprinkle this mixture over the batter.
  6. Pour the boiling water over the top.
  7. Bake for 40 minutes or until the top is set and the edges are bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 30 minutes before serving.
  9. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
