  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.75 cup Unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoon Cocoa powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Light corn syrup
  • 0.75 cup Packed light brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1.5 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1.5 cup Chopped pecans
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, unsalted butter, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla extract, light corn syrup, packed light brown sugar, and melted unsalted butter.
  5. Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
  6. Pour the mixture over the baked crust.
  7. Bake for an additional 20 minutes, or until the filling is set.
  8. Allow the bars to cool completely in the baking dish before cutting into squares.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
