Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake
The combination of chocolate and peanut butter was popularized by the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, which were first introduced in 1928.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 110 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 15.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Add the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

In a separate bowl, mix together the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and heavy cream until smooth.

Once the cake has cooled, spread the peanut butter frosting evenly over the top.

Sprinkle the mini chocolate chips and chopped peanuts on top of the frosting.

Let the cake rest for at least 1 hour before serving.
