  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1.5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.75 cup Milk
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 0.75 cup Creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
  • 0.25 cup Heavy cream
  • 0.25 cup Chopped peanuts
  • 0.25 cup Chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and eggs to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. In a medium bowl, beat together the peanut butter, powdered sugar, unsalted butter, and heavy cream until smooth.
  8. Spread the peanut butter frosting evenly over the cooled cake.
  9. Sprinkle the chopped peanuts and chocolate chips on top of the frosting.
  10. Let the cake rest for 1 hour before serving.
