  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate and butter together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, whisking constantly.
  5. Sift in the all-purpose flour and salt, and gently fold until just combined.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.
  7. Bake for 12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly jiggly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the cakes rest in the ramekins for 3 minutes.
