Ingredients
  • 100 gram Butter
  • 100 gram Dark chocolate
  • 2 unit Eggs
  • 50 gram Sugar
  • 30 gram All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch Salt
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Grease four ramekins with butter and dust with cocoa powder.
  3. Melt the butter and dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy.
  5. Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture, whisking constantly.
  6. Fold in the flour, vanilla extract, and salt until just combined.
  7. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set but the center is still slightly jiggly.
  9. Remove from the oven and let the cakes rest in the ramekins for 5 minutes.
  10. Carefully invert the cakes onto serving plates.
  11. Serve immediately with a dusting of powdered sugar or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
