Rinse and drain the garbanzo beans.

In a food processor, blend the garbanzo beans, maple syrup, cocoa powder, coconut oil, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt until smooth.

Stir in the chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
