Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Crush the chocolate cookies and mix with melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased springform pan.

In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour and cocoa powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the cream cheese mixture, mixing until just combined.

Pour the batter over the crust in the springform pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the center is set. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

In a chilled mixing bowl, beat heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread the whipped cream over the cooled cake.
