  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1.5 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  4. Spread the cookie dough evenly into the prepared cake pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and set in the center.
  5. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
