  2. Melt the butter and chocolate chips in a microwave or on a stovetop.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Add the melted chocolate mixture to the bowl and mix well.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.
  6. Gradually add the flour mixture to the chocolate mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until smooth.
  7. Crush the digestive biscuits into small pieces and fold them into the batter.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared cake tin and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
