Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Melt the dark chocolate and unsalted butter in a heatproof bowl over simmering water.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the caster sugar and eggs until pale and fluffy.

Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture, whisking continuously.

Sift in the all-purpose flour and cocoa powder, and fold gently until combined.

Stir in the creme de cassis liqueur.

Pour the batter into a greased and lined cake tin.

Bake for 40 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let it cool in the tin for 10 minutes.

Transfer the cake to a wire rack and let it cool completely.

Once cooled, decorate the top of the cake with fresh raspberries.
