Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, melted butter, and eggs. Mix until well combined.

Press half of the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a separate bowl, mix together the sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce. Pour the mixture over the pressed cake mixture in the baking dish.

Sprinkle the chocolate chips and chopped nuts evenly over the caramel layer.

Take the remaining cake mixture and crumble it over the top of the chocolate chips and nuts.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
